Automatically Gathered Information.

Caspia utilizes third-party analytics providers, to automatically track certain information about you based upon your behavior while using the Service. This information is used to better understand and serve you by responding to your particular interests and needs.

 

Usage Details.

When you access and use the Services, we may automatically collect certain details of your access to and use of the Services, including traffic data, date and time you access the Services, the number of links you click within the Services and any third-party website and sections within the Services that you access.

Because Non-Personal Information cannot be used to personally identify you, you agree we may use such information for any lawful purpose.

Except as specifically described herein, Caspia does not sell or share your personal information with third parties.

HOW WE PROTECT THE PRIVACY OF CHILDREN ONLINE:

We understand the importance of protecting children’s online privacy. Our Website is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and Caspia will never knowingly collect or maintain personal information through our Website from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have received information directly from a child who is under the age of 18, we will delete such information as soon as possible.

SENSITIVE DATA:

Caspia does not collect sensitive data, and users should not upload sensitive data to the Services. Sensitive data refers to data that includes details about race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about health and genetic and biometric data, and criminal convictions and offences.

INFORMATION RETENTION:

We retain personal information for as long as needed or permitted in light of the purpose(s) for which it was collected. The criteria used to determine our retention periods include:

  • The length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you and provide services to you (for example, for as long as you have an account with us or keep using our Services) and the length of time thereafter during which we may have a legitimate need to reference your personal information to address issues that may arise;
  • Whether there is a legal obligation to which we are subject (for example, certain laws require us to keep records of your transactions for a certain period of time before we can delete them); or

In general, the third-party providers used by us, if any, will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers may have their own privacy policies and we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your information will be handled by these providers. Our Services may contain links to other websites, applications, and services maintained by third parties in which case the privacy policy of such third party applies and this Privacy Policy does not apply. From time to time your personal information, such as your first and last name, company name and email address may be used to contact you with marketing or other information that may be of interest to you. You may be contacted by the e-mail address you provide to us, when signing-up for our newsletter. You can withdraw your consent to receive direct marketing communication from us by clicking the unsubscribe button in our email communications at any time, or by sending us an email using the email address in the Contact Us section below. We are committed to being compliant with the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act of 2003 (“CAN-SPAM Act”). IMPORTANT: Except as stated herein as necessary to carry out Caspia’s business purposes and to provide the Services, we do not sell your personal information to any third parties, including but not limited to advertisers, strategic partners or vendors.

INTERNATIONAL USERS:

If you are visiting the Website from outside the United States, please be aware that Caspia is based in the United States, and the information we obtain through the Website will be transferred to, processed in, and stored on our servers in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. The data protection laws and regulations applicable to your personal information transferred to the United States and such other countries may be different from the laws in your country.

ADDITIONAL STATE SPECIFIC PRIVACY RIGHTS – SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE FOR CERTAIN STATE RESIDENTS:

Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Information.

At this time, Caspia does not meet the applicability thresholds set by U.S. state consumer privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), and other similar state laws. As such, these laws do not currently apply to Caspia, and Caspia is not legally required to provide the rights outlined in them. However, we value your privacy and are committed to transparency. If you have questions about your personal information or would like to request access, correction, or deletion of any personal information you believe we may have collected, you may contact us using the information below. While we are not obligated to respond under applicable law, we may review and respond to reasonable requests at our discretion.

Shine the Light Request.

California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits residents of California to request from Caspia a notice disclosing: (1) the categories of personal information we have shared with third parties, if any, for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes, during the preceding calendar year, and (2) the names and addresses of those third parties. We do not currently share your information for such purposes.

Do-Not-Track Signals; Global Opt-out.

Caspia honors browser-based “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals and certain global privacy control mechanisms, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required by law. When a recognized opt-out preference signal is received from a user’s browser or device, Caspia will treat it as a valid request to opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY:

We reserve the right to change the terms of this Privacy Policy at any time by posting those changes to this Privacy Policy, so that you are always aware of our processes related to collection, use and disclosure of your personal information.
