Mark Tehranipoor, PhD
Mark is the Department Chair & Intel Charles E. Young Chair in Cybersecurity at University of Florida ECE. He is a founding Director of the Florida Institute for Cybersecurity Research and a former Associate Chair and Program Director at the University of Florida. Dr. Tehranipoor has authored 16 books and over 230 invited talks. He holds 22 patents and is a recipient of the IEEE, ACM, and National Academy of Inventors fellowships. His research focus is hardware security, electronics supply chain security, IoT security, and VLSI design

Waleed Khalil, PhD
Waleed is Associate Professor at The Ohio State University ElectroScience Laboratory. Dr. Khalil is the founding Director of the Circuit Laboratory for Advanced Sensors and Systems. He is Co-Director of the Air Force Center of Excellence for Enabling Cyber Defense in Analog and Mixed Signal Domain and The National MicroElectronics Security Training Center. Waleed spent 16+ years at Intel Corporation in the communication groups. He has authored three books, 100+ journal/conference papers, and holds 16 issued patents. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE.

Farimah Farahmandi, PhD
Farimah is the Wally Rhines Endowed Professor in Hardware Security and Assistant Professor at the University of Florida ECE. Dr. Farahmandi is the Founding Director of the Silicon Design and Assurance Laboratory. She is Associate Director of the Florida Institute of Cybersecurity and Edaptive Computing Transition Center. Farimah has authored seven textbooks, 120+ journal/conference papers, and holds 12 patents issued/pending. She received the NSF Career Award (2024) and the SRC young Faculty Award (2022). Her research focus is hardware security verification, fault-injection & side-channel attack analysis, information leakage, post-silicon validation and debugging.

Navid Asadi, PhD
Navid is Associate Professor at the University of Florida Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Dr. Asadi is the Director of the Security and Assurance Laboratory and Founder and General Chair of the IEEE Physical Assurance and Inspection of Electronics. He is Associate Director of The National MicroElectronics Security Training Center. Navid has authored four textbooks and 75+ journal/conference papers. He received the NSF Career Award in 2022. His research focus is IC counterfeit detection, anti-reverse engineering, 3D imaging, invasive and semi-invasive physical assurance, supply chain security.

Walden “Wally” C. Rhines is currently president and CEO of Cornami, Inc. as well as Chairman of Caspia Technologies. Previously, he was CEO of Mentor Graphics for 25 years and Chairman of the Board for 17 years. During his tenure at Mentor, revenue nearly quadrupled and market value of the company increased 10X.
Prior to joining Mentor Graphics, Dr. Rhines spent 21 years at TI in various executive management roles. He has served on the board of directors for Cirrus Logic, QORVO, TriQuint Semiconductor, Global Logic, PTK Corp., SRC and as Chairman of the Electronic Design Automation Consortium (five two-year terms). He is a Lifetime Fellow of the IEEE and has served on the Board of Trustees of Lewis and Clark College, the National Advisory Board of the University of Michigan and Industrial Committees advising Stanford University and the University of Florida.
He holds a BS degree in engineering from the University of Michigan, and an MS and PhD in materials science and engineering from Stanford University, a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and an Honorary Doctor of Technology degrees from the University of Florida and Nottingham Trent University.
