Systems and Information Security (Blockchain) Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking Systems and Information Security Engineer(s) to help design, develop, and investigate system architecture and cybersecurity schemes and models for areas in microelectronic assurance and provenance. The successful candidate will investigate and help expand our product roadmap for solutions that answer tough security concerns in the electronics supply chain. You will work alongside our experienced technical staff, so being a team-player with effective communication skills is a must. This is a unique opportunity to make an impact on the company’s product architecture and vision as a growing start-up.
Responsibilities
- Designing novel solutions using distributed ledgers and peer-to-peer schemes to automate, secure, and certify various information and transactions for a microelectronic system
- Areas include Hyperledger, Ethereum and other blockchain technologies and their derivatives, as well as novel architecture(s) per customer requirements
- Smart contract creation, implementation, and integration with existing schemes along with performance optimization and scalability
- Upgrading, debugging, and troubleshooting with adaptability and security in mind
- Participate and lead concept development activities and product road-mapping
- Preparation of documentation, technical reports, proposals, and presentations at meetings
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- BS with two years experiences or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another related field (PhD or PhD candidate is a plus)
- Experience in software development, maintaining codebases, and systems implementations
- Strong knowledge of cyber- and network- security, cryptographic algorithms, data structures, and software architecture is a plus
- Hands on experience with various blockchain architectures, peer-to-peer networking, and open-source ledger architectures is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced start-up environment
- Must be a US Citizen
